So the doublet is basically done. I need to get some more leather to use for the sleeves, but the sewing is complete. I need to play with the fit some - something just doesn't look quite right. If all else fails I'm sure mom can fix it - hehe.

Doublet Project
This is my new doublet. it has detachable sleeves. This shows why anyone who sews needs a work room, so as to not make their living room the Chernobyl of fabric remnants. I chose to use a different fabric for the sleeve caps, but they'll be easy enough to remove if I end up not liking it.

PA Ren Faire
PA Ren Faire was awesome, here are some pictures I took. Gotta love Tartan Terrors, and the awesome bagpiper - Sean something. The acrobats were great, too, and I'm not normally a huge acrobat fan - Barely Balanced. The Faire sight is one of those wandering faires as opposed to a circuit.
